I was skeptical about a bison bar being anything special, but the salt and pepper seasoning is exactly right—savory without being overpowering. It's surprisingly filling for just 10g of protein, and the 2g of carbs makes it a guilt-free snack between meals. Already ordered two more boxes.
The peppery kick is just right and doesn’t overpower the bison, which tastes cleaner than most beef bars I’ve tried. It’s a bit crumbly toward the end, but the 2g of carbs makes it an easy snack on a low-carb day.
Took this on a long hike and the sea salt and pepper seasoning actually comes through, which is rare for a bar. The 10g of protein kept me going, though the texture is a bit drier than I'd like.
