Took one on a long hike and it held up perfectly in my jacket pocket—no mess, no weird melting. The maple sugar with the smoked bacon is a surprisingly good combo, and the celery powder keeps it tasting clean rather than overly processed. Definitely buying a few more for the office drawer.
The smoky bacon flavor is spot-on, and the maple sugar gives it just enough sweetness without being cloying. I’ve been keeping one in my work bag for a mid-afternoon snack, and the texture holds up really well even after a few hours at room temperature.
Maple sugar really comes through on the first bite, balancing the salty-smoky pork in a way that makes the whole bar feel like a campfire breakfast. Texture's got a nice chewy bite too, not too dry. This is my new desk snack for sure.
